JAMMU: Jammu Province People Forum (JPPF) expressed serious concern over the total failure of law and order situation in the Kashmir Valley after the killing of a militant Burhan Wani.
Coming heavily on the Pro Pakistan separatists and other allied anti-social elements for prompting and misguiding Valley youth to adopt gun culture and join militant outfits President Pavittar Singh Bhardwaj while addressing the meeting asked the State Government and the Centre to immediately arrest and register FIR against the anti-nationals and others responsible for the death of innocent youth, injured civillians and jawans of police and paramilitary forces engaged in protection of life and property of the civilians.
Lambasting on the State Coalition Government for its failure to restore normalcy even after the lapse of more than a week, he said that the way the Valley has been boiling for the last one week after the killing of a militant it appears that the State has been put to a state of inertia as there is no government machinery on ground and is free for all Azadi groups.
“It is high time that all such elements are arrested and put behind the bars and shifted out of the State to restore normalcy so that the poor population who are dependent only on tourism is not deprived of their livelihood in the current tourists’ season,” he added.
Talking about the miserable condition of the Yatris who are away from their homes to perform Amarnath Yatra, he said that at last the pro Pak separatists and antinational forces have succeeded in their sinster design to sabotage the Yatra as thousands of Yatris are stranded at different places enroute for want of proper security and that too without food, shelter and other required amenities. He urged the government to give due attention to the immediate requirements of Yatris including food, shelter and top priority to the clearance of these stranded Yatris at the earliest.
