JP World School bags runner up Basketball trophy

JAMMU: JP World School, Channi added one more feather in its cap by getting second position in under-17 Inter School Basketball Championship organised by Department of Youth Services Sports Jammu at MA Stadium, here from 2nd to 4th May.
JP World School reached in final after defeating St. Peter School, Karan
Bagh, Army Public
School, Nagrota and Heritage Public School by a big margin.
The final match was played between JP World School and Nagbeni Public School Akhnoor Road, in which JP World School lost the match by two baskets. Up to the first three quarters, JP World School was wining but could not win last quarter.
Aditya, Mananya, Amandeep, Amarpreet and Ashish of JP World School played very well and were appreciated by the district officials. They have been practicing for the event under the guidance of their coach Ankita Singh.
On arrival in school, the Managing Trustee Ashok Singh Manhas, Principal Jitinder Singh Hundal and all staff members and students welcomed and congratulated them and their coach Ankita Singh for their outstanding performance. The principal wished them the bright future ahead.
