Jodhamal School shines in Pandit Uma Dutt Sangeet Mahotsav

JAMMU: Jodhamal Public School students brought accolades to the school in recently concluded Ninth Pandit Uma Dutt Sangeet Mahotsav organised by Nirvana Academy, here.
Over 50 students from Sharda Sangeet Sadan, KC International School, Tanseen Music Institute, Divine Music Institute, Rhythm Institute, Jodhamal Public School and Strings Guitar Institute took part in different categories of the musical competition.
In Casio Solo, the young musicians of Jodhamal, who rocked were Vedang (1st), Kartik Sanyal (1st), Rudradev Singh (1st), Saurabh Bhagat (1st), Ananya Mahajan (1st), Shweta Sharma (1st), Soham Gupta (1st), Anahita Bharti (2nd), Ishmeet Singh (2nd), Ojasvi Singh (2nd), Syed M. Ibrahim (2nd), Shivansh Pandey (2nd), Prisha Chandoke (2nd), Hasrat(3rd), Harmanjot (3rd), Satvik (3rd) and Aditya Singh (3rd).
In Duet Singing, Vanshika and Anahita won first prize and Bidhati Singh and Nandaini Verma got second.
In Solo singing, Arshpreet, Aayti Sharma, Prateek Singh and Sambhav Arora won first prize while Kartavya Mahajan, Shaarvi Magazine and Rakshit Langer won the second prize. Suryansh Mahajan won the first prize in Dhol.
In Solo Golden Guitar, Navtej, Aniran, Vanamlin, Snigdha, Manya, Saksham, Rajveer, Medansh, Tejas, Apurv and Dhruv got the first prize while Parth, Gungun, Anish, Shivansh Pandey, Bipasha, Ratul and Aditya won the second prize and the third prize went to Abivesh, Navya and Ayush.
The School Principal, Trilok Singh Bist felicitated the students in a special assembly for this landmark achievement and also congratulated Deepak Kumar, Poonam Mahajan and Subash Dey for preparing the students.
