Jodhamal, Maharaja Mewar School conduct exchange programme

JAMMU: Jodhamal Public School Jammu, organised student exchange programme to enrich and inspire the young students of Maharaja Mewar Public School, Udaipur through exposure to each other’s state’s culture, including through short-term study experiences with smart class.
Through these programmes, participants developed a better understanding of similarities and differences between Jammu and Udaipur cultures, as well as gained exposure to new ideas through student exchanges and home stays.
They also empowered themselves through community service at Home for Mentally Challenged at Channi Rama, thus increasing their own sense of emotional and mental well-being.
Students of Maharana Mewar Public were taken around the city of temples by the school representatives and the students of JMPS.
The programme for the students included visit to Vaishno Devi Shrine, Bahu Temple, Raghunath and Peer Kho Temples.
As a part of the Swachh India Campaign, students of JMPS along with Maharaja Mewar Public School organised Banega Swachh Jammu in the village Ismailpur Khothe that has been adopted by JMPS.
The students also gave away computers and books to the Government Girls High School at Ismailpur Khothe.
MMPS students learnt about the culture of J and K.
Vice Principal, Monika Sethi coordinated this exchange programme with the support from CCA Coordinator Nandani Bakshi, Music Teachers Deepak Kumar, Poonam Mahajan, Shruti Bakshi, Aadi Sharma, Sahil, Day and the staff and students of JMPS at large.
Principal JMPS, Trilok Singh Bist lauded the efforts of the staff and students of both the schools and thanked the Principal MMPS Sanjay Datta for initiating the exchange programme.
Principal put in a special word of appreciation for the Administrative Officer Bharat Bhushan Sharma and Transport Officer Vijay Jamwal for all the help extended and for being the contributors to this programme.
