Jodhamal bags overall trophy in State Matsogi-do Championship

JAMMU: In the recently held 13th State Matsogi-do Championship at SK Resorts, Purmandal Morh, the Jodhamal team won 32 medals including seven gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze. In addition, the Jodhamal team stood first and bagged Overall Championship Trophy.
A total of 51 students participated from Jodhamal School, out of which 34 won medals in this championship.
The winners were Suhani Langer, Nitya Bhagat, Dhwani Pathania, Tarish Gupta, Kanwarpal Singh Sudan, Ansh Gupta and Akshit Sharma (Gold), Iffat Raza, Ashmit, Nitish Narain, Keerat Singh Madaan, Navya Vaid, Akshara Bhandari, Jatin Paul Singh, Uttkash Bhatti, Ayushi Thakur, Simran Khajuria and Priyansh Khuda (Silver), Anirudh Mahajan, Mukul Dev Verma, Lakshay Choudhary, Manasvi, Shriya, Aditya Sharma, Snower, Nikunj Raj, B Sachit, Tarandeep Singh, Aman Gupta, Nikunj Langer, Suryansh Dev Singh, Navjot Singh, Vasu Sharma and Amrit Harshraj (Bronze).
They have been selected for the 10th National Matsogi-Do Championship, which is scheduled to be held in the month of December 2014 at Goa.
The team was prepared by Vishal Samrat, Matsogi-Do Coach of Jodhamal School.
The Principal of the School, Trilok Singh Bist said that the hard work put by Jodhamal School students have helped them remain in the forefront in all sports events.
The proud winners were felicitated by the principal in a special assembly. Bist also lauded the efforts put in by Vishal Samrat, well preparing the team and bringing home a bouquet of medals and overall trophy.
