JAMMU: On April 10, 2016 when the State Unit of the BJP had organised Mandal level executive meetings of its cadre, MLA Gandhi Nagar Assembly constituency and Speaker Kavinder Gupta attended a meeting in a temple located in Sector 3 of Channi Himmat Housing Colony.
Since large number of party workers and local leaders were also present on the occasion, a mobile toilet van of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) was stationed near the temple on the main road as there was no public utility in the vicinity.
Now after the meeting was over, five days have passed but no one from the JMC has bothered to shift the mobile toilet van nor has it been put to use by any passersby.
The van was also wrongly parked in front of the local shops in the area and is also causing parking problem for those regular customers who visit the market.
A police PCR van remain parked in the area round the clock but it appears they are also sleeping over the matter and not keen on shifting the mobile toilet van.
