JAMMU: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) in collaboration with JK-Unity Trust, Trikuta Complex B.C Road and Traffic Police Jammu launched Clean Jammu Green Jammu awareness drive from Amphalla Chowk to Disco Road Janipur.
The drive was flag off by R.S Jamwal, Joint Commissioner (A) JMC, Gourav Chopra Chairman JK Unity (Trust) and Puneet Arora, President. Dr. Anita Salgotra Health Officer, JMC Sanitation Officer and other field staff of JMC was also present.
The field staff of JMC and members of the JK-Unity (Trust) appealed to the shopkeepers to put their belongings inside their shops and not to encroach the footpaths, which are path way for the general public. The shopkeepers were also requested to keep dustbins outside their shops so that the surrounding can be maintained clean and green.
The Joint Commissioner (A), JMC appreciated the role of JK-Unity Trust to participate and support the awareness campaign and also assured in future the possible support shall be provided for any social cause.
