JAMMU: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) on Tuesday intensified demolition drive against illegal constructions in various parts of Jammu city.
The drive was conducted on the directions of Commissioner JMC, Ramesh Kumar and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner Administration, Rajesh Sharma.
During the drive, the team demolished an ongoing commercial construction at Deeli area which was being raised unauthorisedly without the permission of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation appealed to the general public not to undertake the construction without seeking the permission from Jammu Municipal Corporation failing which the same may lead to demolition/sealing of unauthorised construction.
