JAMMU: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) on Saturday launched sanitation drive in Ward No 37 and 38 here starting from Janipur Main Chowk.
Municipal Veterinary Officer JMC and Zonal Officer, II (Sanitation), Dr. Zaffar Iqbal along with CTO, Deepak Gupta reviewed sanitary conditions and performance of other municipal services and directed for improvement of civic amenities.
The public representatives highlighted their respective charter of demands which includes proper functioning of existing water coolers, functioning of high mast lights as well as repair of existing street lights.
The Zonal Officer -II assured the public that all the matters will be redressed shortly on priority.
