JAMMU: JMC Commissioner, Mandeep Kaur on Tuesday joined the movement ‘Pledge To Save Water’ initiated by Let’s Do It Jammu. Not only the Commissioner, Mandeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of the organisation for taking such a necessitated cause but also made sure that her staff and the department also gets involved with the movement.
As a token of appreciation, a certificate was issued to the commissioner for contribution to the cause.
Mandeep said, “The sight of running water from the taps makes me always feel anxious and I make sure to turn off that tap. It is really such a wonderful initiative by Let’s Do It Jammu to make people aware of such a precious source of nature. Reaching out to people and making them pledge for the cause shows their commitment and concern for making people cognisant for water conservation. I extend my wishes for the campaign and also appeal to people of Jammu to join the movement.”

After you join the Movement you will get an official certificate with your name on it and the same will be a reminding you of the commitment you are making to yourself and to the world,” Rashmi Zutshi, Secretary Let’s Do It Jammu said on the occasion.
