JAMMU: Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Mandeep Kaur on Thursday Challaned the Executive Engineer, R&B Div. II, Jammu for dumping Mulba along road side at Sidhra Bye Pass. “The R&B Department was collecting Mulba from the sites where works were going on and dumping the same at the banks of river Tawi,” JMC Commissioner in a handout issued on Thursday said.
Two vehicles of R&B Department including one tractor trolley bearing registration number JK02AW-6881 and truck bearing registration number JK02BL-4832 were seized by Commissioner, JMC found dumping Mulba on
road side.
Commissioner JMC appealed to general masses not to throw any kind of Mulba on road side or in River Tawi as this is the main cause of over flooding of River Tawi during monsoon season.
If anyone found doing so, shall be challaned under relevant provisions of law, she warned.
