KATHUA: An awareness camp was organised by J and K State Women’s Development Corporation (JKWDC) at Bani in district Kathua on Monday. More than 200 participants took part in the camp. Development Officer JKWDC Vijay Tikoo apprised the participants about the schemes run by the organisation.
Discussion was held about various schemes offered by JKWDC and the women were asked to take benefit of these schemes.
The girls who have left their studies due to financial problems were asked to avail educational loan facilities and continue their studies to prove their mettle.
