JAMMU: J&K’s talented speedster Yudhvir Singh Charak impressed one and all with his pace and swing on his IPL debut while representing Lucknow Supergiants (LSG) against Punjab Kings at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, today.
Yudhvir, who bowled consistently over 140 kms per hour took the first wicket on the third ball of his very first over, dismissing Atharva Taide for zero and captured his second wicket in the form of explosive Prabhsimran Singh (4) on the second ball of his second over, uprooting his stumps.
It may be recalled that Yudhvir has served Mumbai Indians as net bowler and squad member earlier and was bought by Lucknow Supergiants for this season.
Yudhvir is representing Jammu and Kashmir in the Ranji Trophy from last two seasons and has the honour of representing Hyderabad for a season or two earlier.
The Sub Committee Members of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) including Brig Anil Gupta, Member-Administration; Mithun Manhas, Member Cricket Operations and Development and Sunil Sethi, Member Legal Affairs JKCA has congratulated Yudhvir for this brilliant display with the ball.
It is pertinent to mention here that the match was on and Yudhvir had one more over to bowl.
PBKS were 75/4 in 11 overs while chasing 160 set by Lucknow Supergiants.
