JKPS Panjtirthi observes International Mosquito Day

JAMMU: International Mosquito Day holds a lot of significance as it is vital to make people aware of the catastrophe that mosquitoes can cause.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi Suman Banbah remarked, “By educating jakiians about mosquito control and prevention, we can work towards reducing the spread of these diseases and protecting communities.”
Jakiians apprised the audience about the mosquito-borne diseases, and their effect on the human health. Jakiians enacted a skit and conveyed to the audience that Mosquito-borne diseases cannot be eradicated with a single solution, but combinations can be effective. We can reduce the spread of malaria by using mosquito nets, insecticide-treated bedding, and spraying mosquito repellent inside our home.
