JAMMU: JK Public School Panjtirthi celebrated Independence Day with patriotic fervour.
“May this spirit of freedom lead us all to success and glory in life. It makes my heart beat with pride, to see the colours of Independence Day spreading happiness and great joys all around. May the glory of Independence Day be with us forever. Happy Independence Day!” expressed by the Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi Suman Banbah, while addressing the audience on the independence Day celebration.
The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by the Vice Chairperson Anju Jamwal and the Principal herself.
Immense joy and love for the nation was visible on the faces of Jakiians.
Their thoughts conveyed the pride and bond of togetherness that each Jakiian feels.
The celebration was centered around arousing a sense of responsibility amongst the young generation towards the hard-earned freedom.
There was a role-play depicting a family where grandparents explained the grandchildren the importance of Independence Day. It was followed by a patriotic group song.
Jakiians saluted the nation by paying homage to our national heroes by presenting a short skit. The students expressed immense gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifice of the freedom fighters.
Jakiians also presented an energetic dance performance dipped in patriotism and excitement. This enactment showed hope and a sense of responsibility towards our country. A student recited a Patriotic poem beautifully, the performance was so heart touching that audience couldn’t stop applauding. The children were educated on the history and importance of freedom and Independence in our country through speeches.
The celebration filled the whole ambience with festivity and patriotism.
Everyone’s eyes were shining with glory and pride of being a part of an emerging ‘Great India’. The Principal concluded the event by appreciating the performers and remembering the success story of our freedom fighters. Her insightful words of wisdom showed the Jakiians the way to discover the light from within.
