JKPS Kunjwani wins gold, silver in Chess, Badminton Tournaments

JAMMU: In the Inter-School Chess Tournament organized recently by the District Youth & Sports Services J&K, JK Public School Kunjwani won two gold and two silver medals. The winners are Janesh Kour (Gold), Harshita Choudhary (Gold), Pakhi Roy (Silver) and Rythym Roy (Silver) Medals.
In the Inter-School Zonal level Badminton Tournament, champion girls from JKPS Kunjwani were Anshika, U-14 (Singles Winner), Manya and Bhavya, U-14 (Doubles Winner), Dhihwn Kour, U-17 (Singles Winner), Aastha Sharma and Hardeep Kour, U-17 (Doubles Winner).
Shashi Chaudhary, Director JKPS Kunjwani and the school Principal Rajesh Rathore congratulated the winners and lauded the Coaches Shivdev Singh and Ashwani for preparing students for the tournament.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore appreciated all the winners for showing their grit, dedication and perseverance. He inspired them to set higher goals ahead and emerge victors in their future endeavours. While addressing students, he quoted Michael Jordan, “Take your practice day as seriously as your match day”.
