JKPS Kunjwani organised a student-centric session on ‘Jadui Pitara’

JAMMU: Jadui Pitara was introduced on February 20, 2023, as part of the government’s commitment to enhance the educational experience and ensure a child-centric, vibrant, and enjoyable learning environment.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has requested Principals/ School heads of its affiliated schools to cascade the information and increase awareness about e-Jadui Pitara amongst all the teachers and other stake holders of their respective schools. Jadui Pitara is a play-based teaching and learning resource designed to cater to the diverse needs of foundational learners. It is aligned with the National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage (NCF-FS) 2022.
Keeping in view the CBSE guidelines and accelerate and amplify the awareness, reach and impact of the transformative idea of ‘Jadui Pitara’, JKPS Kunjwani organised a student-centric session on ‘Jadui Pitara’ as a part of the government’s commitment to enhance the educational experience and ensure a child-centric, vibrant, and enjoyable learning environment.
Jadui Pitara focuses on fostering development in five crucial domains: physical, socio-emotional and ethical, cognitive, language and literacy, and aesthetic and cultural. Teachers made a comprehensive collection of toys, games, puzzles, puppets, posters, flashcards, story cards, student playbooks etc.
A demo session for the teachers was also organized with an intention of increasing awareness about ‘Jadui Pitara’ among students, parents and communities with the help of its instructive manual as it includes parents and teachers as an active participant in enabling a healthy and interactive environment for children.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore, applauded the humongous efforts made by students and teachers under the guidance of their Coordinator Anju Raj Kohli. Indigenous models designed by students drew everyone’s attention. Indigenous teaching aids from teachers reflected their creativity and made children learn the concepts very easily in a fun-filled manner.
He appreciated all the students who presented a heart-warming cultural programme, based on the rich Dogra culture.
To commemorate the day as well as to fulfil the request of the audience, Principal Rathore sang an inspiring song from Kishore da, titled, ‘Ruk Jana nahin tu kahin haar ke’. The whole atmosphere got charged up with positivity, enthusiasm, creativity and innovation.
Speaking on the occasion, Director JK Educational Society Shashi Chaudhary appreciated the efforts of students and teachers in bringing out the ethos of Jadui Pitara, which will make them wonder, observe, appreciate and imbibe the richness of our cultural heritage. Creative endeavours of students under the guidance of their mentors filled every onlooker with a sense of admiration and pride. She invoked students to explore their full potential, keep their eyes and ears open & leave no stone unturned in equipping themselves for all the future needs.
