JAMMU: Displaying grit, grace, and glorious sportsmanship, the Girls Volleyball contingent of JK Public School, Kunjwani emerged as the undisputed champions of the Junior Girls Volleyball Championship, triumphing over Govt. Degree College, R.S. Pura in a pulsating final clash.
The young athletes dazzled the court with powerful serves, sharp reflexes, tactical precision, and admirable unity, winning hearts and thunderous applause from the audience.
Hosted at the Headquarters of JKAP 8th Battalion, Miran Sahib, Jammu, the prestigious championship was organized under the Civic Action Programme-2025 of the J&K Police from October 24 to November 3, 2025.
The event unfolded under the leadership and meticulous stewardship of Suram Singh, JKPS, Commandant, JKAP 8th Bn.
The champions and runners-up were felicitated with trophies, medals, certificates, uniforms, and tracksuits by Suram Singh, JKPS-SSP, who applauded the players for upholding the values of discipline, teamwork, and integrity on the court.
Appreciated by participants and spectators alike, the tournament stood as a shining example of constructive youth engagement, camaraderie, and the powerful role of sports in fostering harmony and strengthening police-public bonds.
Shashi Chaudhary, Director JK Educational Society and Rajesh Rathore, Principal JK Public School congratulated the winners and felicitated them in the School Assembly. They also lauded the School Coach Shubham Mehta and HOD (Sports) Subash Chander for this great achievement.
