JKPS Kathua celebrates Janamashtami

Kathua: Janamashtami-an important festival dedicated the birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated at JK Public School Kathua with religious fervour and gaiety. The tiny tots of JKPS Kathua wore a festive look on Janamasthmi with the students in colourful attires of Lord Krishna, Radha and Gopies as they commemorated the human incarnation of Lord Krishna.
The event began with an obeisance to lord Krishna in the form of a melodious song by Bharat Bhushan, the Music Teacher of the School, followed by a speech on the importance of celebration of Janamashtami by Rekha Sharma, the Head Girl of the School.
The little Krishna and Radha looked adorable in their traditional costumes and the entire area was transformed into a land of joy, celebration and happiness. On this occasion beautiful swing was specially made for the little Kanahiya. The naughty little Knahiya was all set to sway and dance with the Gopies and Radha. The entire event was thoroughly enjoyed by the tiny tots.
Principal Anil Pathania urged the students to imbibe the teachings of Lord Krishna and motivated them to do the righteous deeds in their lives. The function ended with a vote of thanks by Co-ordinator Jyoti Sagotra.
