JKPPS conducts teachers’ workshop-cum-training

JAMMU: J and K Police Public School conducted six-day workshop on different aspects i.e. computer literacy programme, communication skills, class room management, stress management, teaching of Science and Maths workshop, which concluded on Monday.
Computer literacy workshop was conducted by Meenakshi Vaid (PGT IP), Sumit Bali (PGT C.Sc.) and Himani Bali (PRT Comp.) who trained the school teachers in computer skills. Atul Sharma, former Central head ICFAI, Hyderabad trained teachers in communication skills and class management while Avinash Gupta, Vice-Principal APS Nagrota taught skills of teaching Maths and stress management and workshop culminated with a science workshop conducted by school teachers Sarita, Anupama Suri and Shivani Rajput. They prepared various models on different topics.
All the school teachers attended workshop which added to teaching methods and experiences. They learnt to use new techniques in teaching learning process.
Principal of the School, Sanjeev Pradhan said regular update of knowledge is required and one must try to improve their teaching techniques so that we can build a strong nation and create good citizens.
