JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Police in a bid to continue its drive of providing free medical camp to the flood hit areas established a police medical relief camp in Bhagatpur village in Ponichak area under the Domana Police Station jurisdiction.
Various flood hit victims were given medical treatment and free medicines were provided. People were made aware of the water born diseases and advised about preventive measures.
DIG Jammu Samba Kathua Range, Shakeel Ahmed Beig alongwith SP Rural, Mohan Lal Kaith and SDPO Domana, Sanjay Parihar monitored the functioning of the police medical camp.
DIG Jammu also interacted with the general public of flood hit areas and heard their grievances assured them that district and police administration will leave no stone unturned to mitigate the genuine problems of the flood affected victims in order to put an end to the suffering of flood hit victims.
