JKNPP rebukes Kavinder Gupta’s remarks over Rassana case

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Accusing BJP of showing utter disregard to the collective sentiments of the people of Jammu Pradesh, Panthers Party categorically condemned the remarks of Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta over Rassana case which had come as a shocker for the Dogras.
Briefing media persons here, Gagan Pratap Singh State Secretary and Spokesman JKNPP, lambasted the newly appointed Deputy of Mehbooba Mufti who after hours of taking Oath said that Kathua case was a small incident which should not be given too much importance.
Singh regretted that the saga of BJP’s betrayals and treachery further continued following the ‘rijig’ in the quota of its Ministerial births when the obnoxious remarks of Kavinder Gupta added fuel to the fire by calling the murder of minor girl as a ‘small incident’. He said that people of Kathua were on the roads for over three months seeking CBI inquiry into the gruesome incident besides the womenfolk of village Rassana were sitting on relay hunger strike for the last 33 days at Kootah Morh at Hiranagar in pursuit of justice for the child victim.
“Calling the Rassana incident as petty and not worth importance, Kavinder had brought disgrace to the entire Dogra fraternity and womenfolk in particular. He owes an apology to the people”, Gagan said. Singh warned the BJP to rake up all Jammu centric issues including the CBI probe into Rassana case in conformity with the demand of the people or else break the unholy alliance with the PDP in the interest of the region.
“In case you failed to do so, the people will tear you apart in the days to come”, Gagan said. Paramjit Marshall State President PTU and Parshotam Parihar State Secretary PTU were also present.
