JAMMU: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) led by its President Sushil Sudan on Wednesday met Minister for Health and Medical Education Dr. D.K Manyal at his residence.
Sushil Sudan, while interacting with the minister, apprised him of the present scenario of Health Department and raised echelon of corruption in the department. He discussed some other issues also.
Dr. Manyal said that as he has just took the charge and some time will be required to streamline the busted system.
“We will sit and discuss all the issues in detail shortly” he added.
Meanwhile, Sushil Sudan postponed the scheduled district-wise protest dharnas starting from May 4 on the request of Health Minister.
He also extended his special thanks to the Prime Minister for assigning Dr. D.K Manyal the responsibility of Health and Medical Education Department and specially choosing a person who is from our own clan.
