JKLF starts ‘Jail Bharo’ agitation, Malik, associates court arrest

Srinagar: Initiating its ‘Jail Bharo’ agitation against ‘not-availability of political space’, JKLF Chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik on Friday courted arrest along with his ten party members.
Led by Malik, dozens of JKLF supporters started marching from Maisuma, and as soon as they reached Budshah Chowk, a large contingent of police stopped them.Ten JKLF members led by their chairman, Malik courted arrest after which the other protesters dispersed peacefully.
Malik had announced ‘Jail Bharo’ agitation during a press conference after his public contact campaign was foiled.
While talking to media persons during a protest Yaseen Malik lashed out at PDP-BJP led government in which he said that before election PDP said that we will give a political space to separatist leaders but they also put us behind the bars. While reacting to Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement he said that India is planning to provide separate colonies to Pandits but we will not let it happen.
