JKIIANS shine in Inter-School Roller Skating Championship

JAMMU: In the inter-school Roller Skating Championship organized on August 24, 2024 under the aegis of Jammu & Kashmir Roller Skating Championship, JK Public School Kunjwani won six gold, five silver and six bronze medals.
The winners were Abeer Bajaj, Adeeba Malik, Shravya Agnihotri-Gold Medal each, Neelesh-Two Gold Medals, Gurtej Singh-One Gold and one Bronze Medal, Tejas Singh, Sanjeevni Rajput, Rhythm Roy, Jaskirat Singh and Oriana Sharma – Silver medal each. Aryaveer Singh, Aarush Jain, Sartaj Singh, Mohd Uzair and Rudra Arora, Bronze Medal each. The Patron of JK Educational Society, Neelan Daluja awarded medals and certificates to the winners.
Shashi Chaudhary, Director JK Educational Society and the Principal JK Public School Rajesh Rathore also felicitated the winners in the school assembly. They lauded the School Coach Varun Anand for this big achievement.
More than 250 skaters from top-notched CBSE Schools around the City participated in this competition held at JK Public School.
The competition featured several types of skating under various categories: Speed – Inline, Loose-Bearing, Quad Jones Skate, Inline Jones Skate. Participants also competed in races over the following distances, 500 meters – a sprint distance that tested the skater’s speed and stamina and 1000 meters – a longer race that required endurance and strategic pacing.
The shining skaters of JKPS Kunjwani showcased their remarkable talents and competed fiercely in different age categories.
