JAMMU: To pay homage to the eight martyred CRPF personnel who lost their lives on Saturday last in a militant attack at Pampore, J and K Freedom Fighters’ Association (JKFFA) held a tributes paying function in the memory of deceased CRPF personnel. The function was organised by the President of the Association Ved Gandotra wherein Pritam Sharma President of Kranti Dal was the Chief Guest.
The members remembered the Martyrs by observing two minutes silence and by lighting candles in their honour. The function was held at Dogra Shaurya Stamb, Amphalla, this morning.
The JKFFA members praised the role of para-military forces, who have been fighting militancy for more than two decades at the cost of their own lives in order to save the life and dignity of the innocent residents of the Jammu and Kashmir State.
They also condemned the role of the separatist leaders, who were misguiding the local youth in the name of religion and were working against the democratic system. JKFFA said that separatists are black spots on the face of civilisation and are traitors of the country. The members demanded to immediately withdraw the government security provided to these traitor elements and should be put behind the bars for their anti-national activities.
The members also expressed solidarity with the families of the martyred jawans and prayed to the Almighty to give courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss suffered by them. They also prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
The prominent persons who participated were Rajiv Mahajan State President Shri Ram Sena, General Secretary Parphat Kapahi, R.R Raina, Brij Mohan, Pritam Sharma and Sushil Verma.
