JKEDI approves 105 fresh cases

PAMPORE: The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) has approved more than Rs 65 crore to 1,851 youth for establishment of micro enterprises in the State.
The money has been approved under Term Loan Scheme of National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC) being implemented by JKEDI since 2011. In the 26th Steering Committee meeting of Term Loan Scheme of NMDFC for candidates trained under Self Employment Component of Himayat was held here under the chairmanship of Dr. M.I Parray, Director JKEDI, the DPRs of 116 enterprises involving 116 entrepreneurs were placed before the committee, out of which 107 cases were approved.
