JKCA holds Jammu Cycling Championship

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association (JKCA) on Sunday conducted Jammu District Championship at MA Stadium, here in collaboration with J&K Sports Council (JKSC).
Mayor Jammu, Chander Mohan Gupta was the Chief Guest, who gave away the prizes along with Guest of Honour, Sahil Ji Maharaj. Additional Secretary Agriculture, Pankaj Magotra was special invitee.
Speaking to the gathering, the Mayor appreciated the organisers and assured all possible help from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) in improving the facilities to the sportspersons and sports organisations.
Earlier, the under-12 boys’ title went to Nowman Arshad Wani while Shivansh Jain and Mandar Mehta remained second and third respectively. In girls under-12 category, Navya Sanmotra stood first while Bhavya Sharma remained second.
In under-14 age group, Tanmeet Singh Randhawa bagged first place and Saransh Mehra finished second. Third place secured by Kitan Saini. The Junior Boys title bagged by Ayush K Sharma while Rajveer Singh and Nipun Anand took second and third place respectively.
The Senior boys title went to Anish Dubey. Manav Radha secured second place while Rajveer Singh finished third.
Prominent person present were Sharat Chander Singh, Balwinder Singh, Santokh Singh Chib, Surinderpal Singh Gill and Sanjay Sharma.
The event took place under the supervision of General Secretary of the Association, S.S Gill and Treasurer, Ravi Salgotra.
