J&K Wushu team reaches Junior National venue

JAMMU: The 45-member J&K Wushu team reached Coimbatore to compete in the 23rd Junior National Wushu Championship to be held at KPR College of Engineering and Technology.
The team was screened by the J&K Sports Council (JKSC) soon after the 15-day long coaching camp concluded. Appu Jamwal and Kanav are accompanying the team as coaches.
Pertinent to mention here that in the previous edition J&K Wushu Junior team remained overall third.
Meanwhile, president of the Wushu Association of J&K, Vijay Saraf; general secretary, Bhavneet and other office bearers of the Association wished success to the athletes. Kuldeep Handoo (Dronacharya Awardee) thanked JKSC for the support.
