J&K wins overall championship trophy in speedball National

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir team won the overall championship trophy of Ninth National Federation Speedball Tournament held at Himachal Pradesh. About 400 students from 12 states of the country participated in the event.
A total of 75 State players participated in the championship organised by Speed Ball Federation of India (SBFI) and created history by clinching 65 medals including 11 gold, 24 silver and 30 bronze. Rajasthan secured second place while host Himachal Pradesh got third in medal tally.
Anupam Mehra, President SBFI, announced and guided the teams to get prepared for upcoming international Championship at Nepal in the month of January 2018.
On the occasion, Speed Ball Federation of India nominated Sunny Nanda as North Chief of India.
J&K team was received on Tuesday by Patron of the Association, Vijay Gupta, Editor in Chief Young Bites Newspaper and President Ravi Tikku, Vice President Abha Gupta besides other members. They congratulated Sunny Nanda and team players for this achievement.
