JAMMU: In view of the release of Rs 434 crore to clear the pending salaries of teachers working under RMSA and SSA by the State Government, J and K Teachers Forum on Thursday decided to postpone the proposed strike which was scheduled for 10th June, 2015.
Chairman J and K Teachers Forum, Abdul Qayoom Wani expressed gratitude to Education Minister, Nayeem Akhter for resolving this sensitive issue.
Wani also met Commissioner Secretary to Finance, Naveen Chowdhary to express his thanks on the release of the pending salaries of teachers working under SSA and RMSA.
