JAMMU: JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi celebrated Kisan Diwas with great enthusiasm and respect to honour the invaluable contribution of farmers to the nation.
Jakiians spoke about the importance of farmers and agriculture in India. Jakiians enacted a short skit to highlight the life and struggles of farmers and their role in ensuring food security. Students presented poems, slogans, and speech expressing gratitude towards farmers. The Teacher Incharges of celebration, Nisha Chopra and Deepali Sharma spread awareness about sheets sustainable farming and encouraged the jakiians to value farmers and natural resources. The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi Suman Banbah appreciated and rewarded the teacher in charges for organising such a flawless celebration. The Principal further emphasized that Kisan Diwas reminds everyone to acknowledge the hard work of farmers who are the backbone of the country.
