JK Public School Panjtirthi celebrates International Labour Day

JAMMU: International Labour Day, also known as ‘May Day’ was observed at JK Public School Panjtirthi with great aplomb.
May Day honours and celebrates the accomplishments and contributions of labourers and workers.
On the occasion, Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah said, “It is important to be kind and respectful towards all those who help us daily, we must have gratitude for those who serve us.”
Jakiians dedicated a song to the working class to encourage them to be conscious of their rights.
They also highlighted that workers must be aware of the opportunities available to them for their welfare and progress.
Students performed mimicked skits and short plays to show their appreciation for those who work hard behind the scenes.
Students were enlightened about contribution of labourers to our society and how they are the key components of the growing economy.
Each child of Class 3rd participated exuberantly to explain that the workers are the backbone of every nation.
The Principal concluded the celebration by asking various questions to students regarding the meaning, types and importance of Labour.
