JAMMU: JK Public School, Kunjwani, once again brought laurels to the institution as its talented student Payal of Class XI clinched the gold medal in the High Jump event by clearing an impressive height of 1.32 meters at the Inter-State Athletics Championship held in Srinagar on November 6 and 7, 2025.
Shashi Chaudhary, Director, JK Educational Society, and Rajesh Rathore, Principal, JK Public School Kunjwani, congratulated Payal for her outstanding performance and felicitated her for bringing glory to the school.
They commended her dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship, which have made the entire JKPS fraternity proud. Both dignitaries also appreciated the commendable guidance and training provided by the school’s sports mentors Shiv Dev Singh (Coach) and Subash Chander, Head of Department (Sports), whose continuous encouragement and professional coaching played a pivotal role in this achievement.
The school reiterated its commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting holistic development through excellence in academics as well as sports.
