JAMMU: Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Devji is being celebrated across the country on November 4, 2017.
This is one of the most sacred festivals of Sikhs. To mark the occasion, JK Public School, Kunjwani organised a visit of Primary Kids to Baba Fateh Singh Gurdwara, Gandhi Nagar.
A total of 132 students and seven teachers visited Gurdwara to seek blessings of the God.
Students humbly bowed before the Guru Granth Sahib with covered heads and offered prayer. Students took the Prasad and had a joyous Langar in the Gurdwara. Students enjoyed their visit and were encouraged to cultivate a courageous and righteous trait in their personalities which would be a tribute to Guru Nanak Devji. Students promised to be more responsible, honest and humble and thanked the School Management and Principal of the school for organising the visit.
