JK Public School Kunjwani celebrates Teachers’ Day with verve and enthusiasm

JAMMU: To acknowledge and celebrate the year’s efforts of teachers, JK Public School, Kunjwani, held a grand celebration on Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and ardency.
The School commemorated Teachers’ Day with a vibrant and heartfelt celebration, honouring the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the future of the nation. The celebration was a testament to the respect and gratitude the students hold for their educators.
The dignitaries present on the occasion were Director, JK Educational Society Shashi Chaudhary, Principal JK Public School Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore; Vice Principal Roopinder Kaur; School Coordinator Inderjeet Kaur; Academic Coordinator Parvinder Kaur; Coordinator Primary Wing Anju Raj & Toddlers’ World Coordinator Shivangani Pandotra.
The celebration began with a solemn prayer led by students, setting a reverent tone for the event. This was followed by a tribute to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the esteemed scholar and former President of India, whose birthday is commemorated as Teachers’ Day. The cultural program by class XII students kicked off with a soulful mashup by Pranav Sharma and Pranav Choudhary which was followed by an energetic dance performance that captivated the audience.
The enthusiasm of the students was palpable, as they took part in various activities to express their appreciation for their mentors by giving them titles, a delightful skit was presented that brought smiles and laughter, showcasing the creativity and collaborative spirit of the students. Musical performance by Suhana delivered a stirring renditions that resonated with the audience. A high-energy RAP by Sayam Malhotra added a contemporary flair to the traditional celebration.
The day would not have been complete without words of wisdom from the school leadership. Acting Principal, Adit Sharma, delivered an inspiring speech, reminding everyone of the pivotal role teachers play in the holistic development of students. A student representative, Avikam Sharma eloquently expressed the collective gratitude of the student body.
Then Director Shashi Choudhary, applauded the hardwork of students for making the day so special, not just for the teachers, but for the entire school community. She advised the students to continue to show the same passion and commitment in all their endeavours.
The celebration concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, a befitting culmination to a day, dedicated to those who tirelessly work to educate and inspire the next generation. The celebration was a testament to the respect and gratitude the students and the school community hold for their educators.
