JAMMU: The JK Public School on Thursday qualified for the finals of both under-14 and under-17 categories in the inter-school girls basketball competition of Jammu District, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at MA Stadium, here.
Earlier, in under-14 semifinals, Heritage School blanked MHAC Nagbani 10-0 while JK Public School trounced Carmel Convent 4-2 in a low scoring game. Similarly, in under-17 semifinals, JK Public School outplayed Banyan International School 20-0 and Heritage beat MHAC Nagbani 8-0.
