JAMMU: Festivals are celebrated at JK Public School Kunjwani with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Keeping in view the traditions alive, the school celebrated the festival of the birth of Lord Krishna ‘Janamashtmi’ with great fervor.
The day started with special assembly in which students of the choir sang a beautiful bhajan ‘Yashomati Maiya Se Bole Nandlala’.
Thereafter, students performed on the songs ‘Maiya Yashoda’ and ‘Madhuban Mein Jo Kaniyha’ which enthralled one and all present in the assembly. A rally was also conducted in the school premises on this occasion. All the students of Toddlers’ World were dressed up in the attire of Sri Krishna and Radha. The students narrated Shalokas of ‘Bhaghvad Gita’ on Shri Krishna. The performance of the students was highly appreciated.
S.K Singh, Principal JK Public School, bestowed his best wishes to the staff and students and inspired all to follow the path of truth and teachings of Lord Krishna.
