JAMMU: J&K UT Youth Powerlifting Association today selected J&K team for participation in National Powerlifting (men and women, equipped and unequipped) Championships, organised by Indian Powerlifting Federation (IPF) at Surat in Gujarat from February 23 to February 25.
As per a handout issued by the Association, the teams have been selected in Bench Press, Dead Lift and Powerlifting events on merit basis in the presence of president, Jatinder Singh Lucky. Also present were Iqbal Singh (general secretary), Vijaypal Singh (senior vice president), Dr Hemant Abrol, Neete Kour, Sahil Anand, Harish Verma and Prince Singh.
The Team: Kunal Verma, Ritesh Gupta, Krishna Verma, Paras Kumar, Sumit Thakyal, Honey Sharma, Krrish Gupta, Ravinder Singh and Sumit Thakyal.
