JAMMU: Three-day J&K UT Invitational Karate-do Championship held under the banner of Traditional Karate do Association of J&K at Indoor Sports Complex Bhagwati Nagar, here.
In this championship around 575 participants contested for the top honours, a handout issued by the Association here on Sunday informed.
Chief guest, Gul Sarkhab and guest of honour, president Traditional Karate-do Association of J&K, Naresh Chander felicitated the winners of different weight and age groups.
Ritika Jamwal, Manager Sports Complex Bhagwati Nagar was present as special guest.
The championship conducted under the supervision of Shihan Umesh Rekhi and referee commission chairman (TKAJK), Shihan Shashi Janotra was tournament director while Shihan Suhel Ashraf was tournament manager, the handout mentioned.
The bouts were officiated by the technical panel including Ajay Gill, Digvijay, Ravi, Aryan Sharma, Naresh Bhagat, Pawan Choudhary, Sam Gurung, Happy Kohli, Rakesh Kumar, Mahesh, Tanisha Mahajan and Neetu Devi.
