J&K IT Deptt wins SKOCH Silver Award for ‘e-unnat’ Project

JAMMU: The Information Technology Department of Jammu & Kashmir has been honored with the SKOCH Silver Award for its innovative in-house project “e-unnat” at the 100th edition of the SKOCH Summit held at the NCIIPD Campus in New Delhi on Saturday.
The award was presented to Aijaz Qaiser, Additional Secretary IT, J&K, who accepted the prestigious honor on behalf of the department. The award was presented by Sameer Kochhar, Chairman, and Dr. Gursharan Dhanjal, Vice Chairman of the SKOCH Group.
The SKOCH Silver Award recognizes the department for its pioneering solutions and impactful initiatives that have made a significant contribution to public service. J&K’s commitment to digital governance was highlighted as the state tops the country with 100% availability of its 1,164 online services on the unified e-unnat portal.
The project has been celebrated as an exemplary model of how digital platforms can streamline public service delivery and enhance accessibility for citizens. This prestigious recognition underscores the J&K government’s unwavering commitment to improving public services through innovation and technology, setting a benchmark in the country for digital governance.
