KATHUA: On the directions of the Excise Commissioner, Pankaj Kumar Sharma and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Kusum Sharma and ETO, Excise Range Kathua Virender Kumar and with cooperation of Principal, Sheikh Mohd Hafeez and management of the Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Bani, Jammu & Kashmir Excise Department organised sports event at Bani.
In the sports event, a volleyball match was played between the inter house teams of the school, in which both the teams played with absolute passion, fervour and enthusiasm.
Both winning and runner up teams were awarded trophies, individual medals and certificates of appreciation. Volleyball kits, uniforms were provided to the players and refreshment was also distributed among the participants and the students of the school. The gathering appreciated the efforts of Excise Department in generating awareness among the students regarding ill effects of the drugs abuse.
