JAMMU: The day-two of the three-day Khelo India National Wushu Women’s League in Sub-Junior category, J&K confirmed eight medals at Indoor Hall, Bhagwati Nagar, here on Wednesday.
Manipur leads the medal tally of the League event which is being organised by Sports Authority of India (SAI) to empowerment in sports. The event is hosted by the Wushu Association of India in support with SAI STC Jammu.
“Such events are part of the long term goal of the Indian Government to achieve the desired results at the international level, especially in the Olympics,” said Dhronacharya Awardee, Kuldeep Handoo.
The closing of the championship shall take place tomorrow at 5 pm at the same venue.
