JAMMU: JK College of Education in collaboration with Nagri Lipi Parishad (Regd.) Delhi conducted a national level essay writing competition on 15th October, 2015 wherein students from B.Ed College as well as from JK Public School Kunjwani participated.
The result of the competition was declared on 4th April, 2016.
Urmil Mehta, Lecturer in JK College of Education received second prize of Rs 1,000 in research category. In senior category Keshav Prasad Singh and Sanju Kumari student of B.Ed bagged second prize while Asha Kumari, Hari Om and Poonam Rana were awarded with consolation prize.
Harshinni Mehta of 9th B of JKPS Kunjwani received first prize of Rs 1,000 while Avriti Gupta, Musarrat, Shubam Saini, Vasundara and Rupali got third prize in Junior Category.
Paramjeet Singh, Rmaniya Gupta, Satayam, Richa, Khushi, Nidhi and Nishtha got consolation prizes.
Brig. Sukhdev Singh, Director JK Educational Society and Shashi Chaudhary, Principal felicitated the students. In his speech the director congratulated the winners and motivated them to participate in such competitions again.
