JAMMU: Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on 5th September on the birth anniversary of the former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, in JK Group of Colleges.
It would be precise to compare a teacher with a leader. The teacher shows youngsters the path to a bright future and helps them reach their respective destinations, the teacher uses all knowledge to make the student shine bright in their careers.
Such a teacher, though does not expect anything from their students has to be honoured, but 5th September is believed to be celebrated only in schools and has lost its significance among college students, this was proven false by the students JK college of BBA and BCA. They threw a surprise bash for their teachers and honoured each one of them. The teachers were overwhelmed when they witnessed the true respect/esteem, the students hold for them.
