J&K Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association extends support to BJP

RS PURA: All J&K Central Paramilitary Forces (CPMF) Welfare Association holding a general body meeting under the aegis of its General Secretary Darshan Kumar to work out a strategy in view of the upcoming Assembly elections in the Jammu and Kashmir State.
Problems and difficulties being faced by the retired personnel, Veer Naris and dependents of Central Paramilitary Forces were also discussed.
In view of the discriminatory and step-motherly attitude of the previous government and now the ruling government, remained discouraging and dismal the central ex-paramilitary forces as this lot already in grave situation.
Expressing hope for resolving their issues, association members decided to support Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party in the State.
They also highlighted their demands which include one rank one pension, martyrs status to the CPMF soldiers, who were killed in action, removal of anomaly in pension structure of pre-2006 retirees, implementation of ex-Servicemen status in letter and spirit, enhancement of medical allowance to Rs 2,000, ECHS medical facility instead of CGHS, separate pay commission or a separate chapter in 7th Pay Commission report for CPMFs and unconditional promotion to the CPMFs personnel after every 8 years interval.
