JAMMU: Organised by the J&K Amateur Boxing Association, the three-day J&K UT Boxing Championship started on Wednesday under the aegis of Boxing Federation of India and J&K Olympic Association at MA Stadium, here.
“Sponsored by J&K Sports Council, boxers from all over the UT, representing districts of Jammu, Srinagar, Poonch, Rajouri, Ramban, Udhampur, Pulwama, Samba, Kathua, Doda and Baramulla are participating in this competition,” informed General Secretary of the Association, Rajan Sharma.
The competition is being officiated by the technical panel comprising Harimder Pal Singh, Anil Wadhera, Rajneesh Kumar, Farooq Ahmad, Naresh Kumar, Rajesh Dogra, Gautam Kumar, Mushtaq Ahmad, Ishtiyaq Ahmad and Sandeep Singh.
