JAMMU: J&K UT Boxing Championship, organised by Boxing Association of J&K, concluded with prize distribution function at Boxing Ring, M A Stadium, here on Sunday. Dr Harbaksh Singh, Chief Medical Officer was chief guest, who presented medals and other individual prizes. Member Sports Council, Rajeev Sharma was guest of honour. International Wushu player, Bhanu Partap Singh was among those prominent present. The special guests complimented the performance of young boxers and appreciated the Association for holding domestic activities on a regular basis thus providing budding talent platform.
The event was conducted by the technical penal including Anil Wadhera, Sandeep Singh Chib, Sajad Ahmed, Rajesh Dogra, Sanjeev Singh Jawwal, Aman Sangral, Gaoutam Sharma, Naresh Kumar, Avinash Kumar, Sunny, Farooq Ahmed Khan and Rahul Kumar. Earlier, general secretary of the Association, Rajesh Sharma presented a detailed report of the event and expressed thanks to the J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association for the support.
