Kishtwar: Thieves looted Rs 19 lakh from the J&K Bank branch located in Dachan area of Kishtwar district, officials said on Monday. An official said that unidentified persons decamped with cash from the J&K Bank branch in Dachan. He stated that approximately Rs 19. 50 lakh were taken from the branch, which remains usually cut-off during the winter period.
Efforts are underway to identify the robbers, officials said. “CCTV footage is being analyzed, and an investigation has been initiated,” the official added.
