JAMMU: Taking swift action against the encroachers and un-authorized constructions, the Enforcement and Revenue Wing of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) removed encroachments and protected JDA land at Roop Nagar Housing Colony and Bhagwati Nagar.
The anti encroachment drive was conducted on the directions of Vice Chairman, JDA Mubarak Singh. The joint team was headed by Secretary/ Director, Land Management, Vinay Samotra comprising of Chief Khilfwarzi Officer Narinder Singh, Tehsildar JDA (Zone-A) Tarsem Lal, Khilafwarzi Officer Pankaj Singh, Rajinder Choudhary and Parshotam Kumar Khilafwarzi Inspectors, Girdawar Rattan Chand took part in the anti encroachment drive and removed encroachments from plot No.39 to 43, Sector No.1A, Roop Nagar, Housing Colony, Jammu.
The Assistant Ex. Engineer Sardar Khan and JE Amit Bali of Engineering Wing handed over possession to plot owners on spot, whose plots were under the encroachment for long time.Thereafter, in Sector 7 in Roop Nagar JDA Housing Colony some unscrupulous elements have been attempting to grab JDA plots (1N) to (13N) by disturbing JDA layout plan of the colony by way of plying JCB machine and same was removed on spot and possession was handed over to the allottee by JDA Engineering Wing.
In Bhagwati Nagar also some plinths/ structures raised over JDA land were demolished.
JDA warned the trespassers and habitual encroachers to desist from any type of trespassing over JDA land on pretext of fake
revenue documents or
by fraudulent miscreants otherwise stern
action will be initiated against such defaulter under law.
